OK have you tried all of the Fixes and Temporary Solution i Posted Above? Try these Fixes and let me know if that Resolved your Issue: Try this First: I tried fixing the sound here is what i tried: I Uninstalled IDT Sound Driver: I went into control panel and uninstalled The IDT Audio Driver. I then restarted my computer and i reinstalled the Windows 8.1 Drivers from HP.

After Restarting my computer again i checked to see if everything was back to normal but it wasn't everything still sounded the same. Yes i checked your Post out and i think you should try my fixes Above on the First Post and if none of that Works you might consider going back to Windows 7 (I posted how to do that above) You could also do a Reset (I posted how to do that above) But then you would lose the Ability to go back to Windows 7 unless you still have the HP Recovery D Drive then it would be easy to go back. You could also go back if you have Windows 7 on a Disc or Flash Drive. Hopefully my fixes work let me know if they do.
